Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or related field.
  • In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of related experience.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Expert proficiency in solution architecture principles and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance considerations in solution design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus among stakeholders.

The Principal Solution Architect is a senior-level technical leader responsible for providing strategic direction and driving the design and implementation of innovative technology solutions to address complex business challenges. This role involves collaborating with executive leadership to gather and analyze requirements, creating robust solutions, and ensuring strategic alignment with technology platforms and standards. As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Essential Functions

Estimated Starting Salary Range

$165,010.21 - $226,889.04. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

Other Compensation and Benefits

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position. SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
