Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a senior IT leader to guide the Infrastructure Domain within Information Technology. You will drive complex projects, align IT strategy with business goals, and ensure secure, reliable systems across the enterprise.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, oversee delivery of mission-critical platforms, and mentor a high-performing engineering community to deliver innovative IT solutions for a global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
• 9+ years experience in support and delivery of mission critical platforms.
• Airline Industry leadership experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and leadership on complex technical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee the implementation of IT systems and infrastructure projects.
• Design and oversee the implementation of robust IT systems and infrastructure.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies to enhance business operations.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• Airline Industry leadership experience
