Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or STEM, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in one of the above with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD with 0 years of experience.
• Experience coding in Java, C++, or Python.
• Familiar with software problem tracking tools such as DOORs, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, practices, and life cycles (waterfall, spiral, Agile).
• Active in-scope Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Special Program Access.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical feedback during code reviews to ensure standards compliance and maintainability.
• Review requirements to ensure complete, unambiguous flow-down.
• Participate in contractual reviews, program meetings, and configuration control board sessions.
• Evaluate software test environments and readiness for formal testing.
• Collect and analyze quality metrics for software activities.
• Peer-review software documents for content and standards adherence.
• Ensure requirements are integrated into program plans and documents.
• Monitor tests and ensure procedures and anomalies are tracked to closure.
• Support root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
