Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Integration Engineer to perform assembly, checkout of hardware and software, and network systems in a security-heavy environment. This onsite role in Richardson, TX involves hardware/software integration, lab configurations, and collaboration with development and test teams.

The role requires MLS software integration experience, strong CI/CD and DevSecOps proficiency, and a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant work.

What You Will Do
  • Integration of Hardware and Software for connectivity and usability, as required.
  • Installation and Configuration of Computer Hardware in a lab environment.

Qualifications
  • You Must Have Experience with software integration in complex multi-level security (MLS) systems
  • Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools, DevSecOps, containerized software and orchestration environments
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, open mission system APIs and system interfaces
  • Strong debugging skills at the system level, including log analysis, performance profiling, and cross-component troubleshooting
  • Experience leading technical teams, providing direction and support on a daily basis to a small agile team
  • Willing to travel (up to 10%)
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
