Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc. seeks a Principal Software Engineer for Fort Meade, MD to lead advanced development in Java, Python, C/C++, and Assembly.

This fully cleared role requires TS/SCI with an active polygraph and a deep understanding of software architecture and low-level systems. You will work on secure, mission-critical software under federal contracts, reading and debugging complex code, optimizing performance, and shaping hardware-software interfaces while mentoring junior

Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen.
Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph.
Eleven (11) years of direct/relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Strong development experience in Java and Python.
Ability to read/understand C/C++, and Assembly (x86).
Experience with software architecture, operating system design, compilers, and debugging.
Comfortable working with operating system internals, low-level software development, file I/O, system APIs, memory management, and executable program analysis.
