Avenue Technologies is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support technical, engineering, and program teams in a hands-on environment. The role emphasizes designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining software for engineering, production, or test environments.

You will work with cross-functional teams to derive requirements and deliver reliable software solutions, while demonstrating ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and potentially supporting clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in the applicable technical discipline.
• Strong communication, ownership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain software applications for engineering, production, or test environments.
• Develop object-oriented applications, libraries, and drivers using required tools and languages.
• Troubleshoot software issues, integrate with hardware or instrumentation, and support system-level applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to derive requirements and deliver reliable software solutions.
