The Boeing Company is looking for an F-15 Real-time Principal Software Engineer - Mission Systems to join our Mission Systems Software Team located in Berkeley, MO. The Mission Systems Software Team develops real-time embedded Operational Flight Program (OFP) software that resides in the heart of the F‑15 Weapon System, the Mission Computer. The software written by this team enables the F-15 aircraft’s mission capability by interfacing with multiple avionics subsystems (radar, weapons, sensors, etc.) and by implementing algorithms and developing the crew vehicle interface displays. The team is responsible for the design, code implementation, and the various levels of testing of the OFP software as well as supporting the development of the system and subsystem requirements. The team develops products for both United States Air Force (USAF) and international customers.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop and maintain solutions within the F‑15 Mission Computer for all current and future customers and hardware configurations. This leadership role will include managing and guiding day‑to‑day work of junior engineers to deliver software solutions supporting the OFPs that go to the warfighting customer. The F‑15 Mission Computing architecture is being updated for both USAF and FMS customers driving additional needs.
This position requires a senior engineer who has experience in real-time software development, in‑depth knowledge of avionics software, and works well, guiding and collaborating, with others.
This position is expected to 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.

Summary pay range for Principal: $164,000.00 - $292,000.00
