You will guide data architecture, performance tuning, and Java‑based development, partnering with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions. Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with strong DB focus.
• Expertise in relational DBs and data modeling.
• Advanced SQL development and performance tuning.
• Java backend development with JDBC and ORM experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize database schemas, tables, indexes and constraints.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for OLTP/OLAP.
• Develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Debug production issues like slow queries and deadlocks.
• Implement Java data access layers using JDBC and Hibernate/JPA.
• Build ETL pipelines for large datasets.
• Analyze data quality and support business needs.
• Automate DB ops with Bash scripts on Linux/Unix.
