Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced software professional to lead the design and development of advanced trading and risk software solutions. You will own technical design, mentor teammates, and ensure robust delivery using Java (web and core), Oracle SQL, and Linux scripting.

This role involves collaborating with front-, middle-, and back-office teams, documenting processes, reviewing code and tests, and applying modern methodologies to meet complex capital markets requirements, including

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in Java (web and core) and Oracle SQL.
• Linux core and scripting experience.
• Interest in Capital Markets and derivatives products.
• Ability to communicate with business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience

• Ability/Desire to gain knowledge of Capital Markets and Derivatives products
• Ability to effectively communicate with the Business on issues and improvements
• Experience with 3rd party trading systems – Murex, Calypso, etc.
• Knowledge of derivatives product asset classes: Rates, Foreign Exchange, Commodities (Energy), Credit
• Knowledge of derivative sensitivity measures: Delta, Vega, Gamma, DV01, Theta, VaR, etc.
• Experience with Front Office (Trading, Sales/Marketing) and Back Office / Operations (Trade Reporting, Settlements, Accounting, Finance, Collateral Mgmt) and Risk Management (Market, Credit, Legal Compliance)
