What you will do

In this vital role you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology strategy and mentoring a team of talented engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Possess strong rapid prototyping skills and quickly translate concepts into working code
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team
• Take ownership of complex software projects from conception to deployment, managing delivery scope, risk, and timeline
• Contribute to both front‑end and back‑end development using cloud technology
• Develop innovative solutions using generative AI technologies
• Define and implement robust software architectures on the cloud, AWS preferred
• Lead and motivate a team of engineers to deliver high‑quality results
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
• Create and maintain documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations
• Identify and resolve technical challenges effectively
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements
• Work closely with product team, business team, and other stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience
• Master’s degree and 4 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience
• Hands‑on experience with various cloud services, understanding pros and cons and well‑architected cloud design principles
• Hands‑on experience with full‑stack software development; proficient in Python (preferred), JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL
• Proven ability to lead and mentor software development teams
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; ability to learn quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation and public‑speaking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API integration, serverless, microservices architecture
• Experience in SQL/NoSQL database, vector database for large language models
• Experience with popular large language models
• Experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex frameworks for language models
• Experience with prompt engineering, model fine‑tuning
• Experience with web site development, understanding of web site localization processes
• Experience with DevOps/MLOps CI/CD build and deployment pipeline
• Experience with design patterns, data structures, test‑driven development
• Knowledge of NLP techniques for text analysis and sentiment analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering preferred; other engineering fields considered; Master’s degree and 6+ years of software development experience or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of software development experience
• Cloud computing certificate preferred
