Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead development of avionics software, guide systems engineering, and shape aerospace innovations. You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure on-time delivery across the full software life cycle.
The role requires 12+ years in avionics and strong C/C++, Assembly skills, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. This is a hybrid position working with cross‑functional teams.

You will report directly to our Director of Engineering, working out of Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cutting‑edge solutions that support Honeywell’s aerospace initiatives, helping to drive innovation and maintain our leadership in the industry.
On our team, you will have the opportunity to work on next‑generation and new product development projects, directly contributing to the advancement of aviation technology in the Airborne Traffic, Collision Avoidance & Surveillance Avionics space. You will have ownership for systems engineering development at every aspect of the systems life cycle.

The annual base salary range for this position is $190,000-213,500 . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
