Cvent, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to steer the technical direction of our cloud-based event management platform. You will design scalable microservices, implement features in Java and React, and deploy on AWS using a modern SaaS stack.
You will lead a team, enforce automated testing, and optimize data storage with MySQL and Couchbase while mentoring engineers and collaborating across product and engineering teams.

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing Technology Team. Cvent’s Product Development Team is responsible for the design, development and operation of the company’s suite of cloud-based software products. We are also currently engaged in a major initiative to build our next generation software platform, utilizing the most cutting edge tools and technologies such as ReactJS, Java and Couchbase.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field + 60 months of experience in software engineering, software development, or application support engineering in a SaaS or cloud-based software environment. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field + 84 months of such experience.

The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $193,500 – $210,000 annually + bonus depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, relevant experience, and location. We also offer a competitive benefits package, details of which can be found here.
