Job summary

Confero is building a next-generation security platform. We seek a high-autonomy Senior/Principal Full Stack Engineer to join our founding R&D team.

In this 0-to-1 role, you’ll architect, build, and own end-to-end apps, integrate with MCP servers and LLM-powered workflows, and deliver high-performance dashboards that scale. You’ll own both REST APIs and rich UI in React, with strong focus on secure auth and scalable data processing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional full-stack development within B2B SaaS or Cybersecurity products.
• Proficiency in TypeScript across frontend and backend.
• Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS, RESTful API design, and PostgreSQL.
• Frontend mastery of React with complex data visualisation tools or dashboards.
• Experience with message queues and identity flows (OAuth/SSO).

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end applications and APIs using Node.js/NestJS.
• Build responsive React UIs with data-rich dashboards and grids.
• Develop MCP servers, LLM-powered agents, and agentic workflows.
• Implement authentication/authorization including OAuth/SSO and RBAC.
• Write unit and E2E tests (Jest, Playwright) to ensure platform resilience.

We are building a next-generation security platform from the ground up to solve complex enterprise security challenges. We are seeking a high-autonomy Senior/Principal Full Stack Engineer to join our founding R&D team.

In this 0-to-1 role, you won't be maintaining legacy systems. You will architect, build, and own end-to-end customer-facing and internal applications, work directly with state-of-the-art AI tooling (MCP servers, Agentic workflows, LLMs), and build high-performance security dashboards that process high-throughput data at scale.

What You’ll Own & Build:

• End-to-End Application Architecture: Design and implement robust Node.js/NestJS REST APIs and connect them to relational databases and analytics engines.
• High-Performance Interfaces: Build sleek, responsive React applications with modern component architecture, rendering complex data visualisations, data grids, and analytics dashboards.
• Next-Gen AI Surfaces: Build and extend our proprietary Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, LLM-powered agent bots, and agentic workflows as primary product surfaces.
• Auth & Security Infrastructure: Implement end-to-end authentication/authorization flows, including OAuth, SSO, and fine-grained Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Quality & Engineering Standards: Write comprehensive unit and E2E tests (Jest, Playwright) to guarantee platform resilience.

Core Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional full-stack development within B2B SaaS or Cybersecurity products.
• Language/Stack: Deep fluency in TypeScript across both frontend and backend development.
• Backend: Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS (or similar enterprise frameworks), RESTful API design, and PostgreSQL schema design/queries.
• Frontend: Mastery of React alongside demonstrated experience building complex data visualization tools, high-density data grids, or custom dashboards.
• Message Queues & Auth: Practical experience with message queue architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ) and identity flows (OAuth/SSO).

Nice-to-Haves / Bonus Points:

• Direct experience designing and deploying MCP servers or building production agentic workflows (tool calling, orchestration).
• Hands-on experience with GCP infrastructure, BigQuery/ClickHouse analytics databases, or monorepo tools (PNPM workspaces, Nx).
• Familiarity with visualization libraries like D3.js, Highcharts, or Plotly, and UI systems such as Tailwind CSS / shadcn/ui.
