Lead development of data-management web products using Java; collaborate in an Agile environment, and expand expertise with Quarkus and PrimeFaces while delivering reliable enterprise software.

Job Description:

GliaCell is seeking a Principal Software Engineeron one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.
Description:

• Supporta suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools.
• You will become a member of a mature software development effort using Java as the primary language. The development effort uses Agile methods to assign, track and manage software activities and requirements within the team.
• This position will allow youto broaden their skills in the Java language as well as use technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFaces.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints
• Perform quality control on team products.
• Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functions to ensure operational specifications are met.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

• Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Professional/Education experience: 20 years & Bachelors of Science Degree, or 4 additional years in place of a BS Degree.
• Works well independently as well as on a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Salary Range:The salary range for this full-time position is $200,000 to $280,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred position during the hiring process. SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE.
