Job summary

NAVEX is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead across teams, shaping modern architectures in a hybrid role. You’ll mentor engineers, apply Generative AI thoughtfully, and contribute to a high-performance, collaborative culture that values urgency, accountability, and impactful work.

You will work within NAVEX’s Product Engineering team to develop and improve our risk and compliance platform, delivering robust, scalable software that protects reputations and bottom lines for customers.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of full-stack software development experience, preferably in a SaaS or microservice-based system.
• Expert knowledge with our technology stack: .NET, C#, SQL, React and Node; AWS services.
• Familiarity with authentication and access management concepts.
• Expert in software design principles and architectural patterns, including SOLID/DRY design, Object-oriented design patterns, N-Tier architecture, concurrency, and relational database design.
• Culture agility and AI readiness; comfort with fast-paced, candid environments.
• Experience mentoring senior software developers and collaborating with Enterprise Architects.

• Technical leader that will work with multiple teams on designing modern application architectures
• Lead technical elaboration and technical design sessions to understand and refine requirements
• Demonstrate a strong interest in Generative AI and apply emerging capabilities responsibly
• Collaborate with scrum team during sprint planning and daily standups, share accomplishments in reviews
• Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and sprint retrospectives
• Mentor senior software developers and partner with Enterprise Architects to design services

What you'll do:
