Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead design and delivery of large-scale distributed systems in a 100% remote role across the United States. You will guide architectural decisions and mentor senior engineers while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and performance.

Requires 6+ years of experience and advanced proficiency in Java, Go, or C++. This is a full-time, direct position; sponsorship for new H-1B requests is not available at

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise designing distributed, high-scale systems in production.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Go, C++, or similar backend languages.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, system optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives across multiple business units.
• Strong expertise in reliability engineering and distributed architectures.
• Demonstrated leadership in architectural decision-making at enterprise scale.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
