Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline with 12+ years experience, or a Master's with 8+ years, or a PhD with 5+ years.
• Proven expertise designing and operating distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and APIs at scale.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and NoSQL data storage and retrieval.
• Experience evaluating emerging technologies and bringing them into production.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and business settings.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and ongoing evolution of shared platforms, frameworks, or services used by multiple teams or product areas.
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on technical leadership for complex initiatives across teams or organizations.
• Assess, test, and promote new technologies that improve scalability, efficiency, reliability, or developer productivity.
• Balance innovation with operational excellence, considering cost, performance, security, and reliability.
• Mentor and influence engineers across disciplines while supporting technical excellence and long-term growth.
• Partner closely with product managers and business stakeholders to align technical strategy with business objectives.
• Communicate sophisticated technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
