General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Software Developer Principal to transform technology for mission-critical government projects and advance your engineering career. You will lead efforts across AI-enabled SDLC, SecDevOps practices, and AWS cloud deployment to deliver secure, scalable software.

Bring 5+ years in full-stack Java J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices, plus Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on full-stack development with Java J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, and API microservices.
Proven expertise with SecDevOps practices and tools like Docker, Maven, and JBoss EAP.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
Experience with containerization and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

AI SDLC: Develop, Test, and Deploy leveraging AI capabilities.
SecDevOps: Integrate security across the SDLC; automate deployment pipelines and security testing with tools like Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube.
AWS Cloud Management: Deploy and manage AWS cloud environment to support apps and services.
System Integration Interoperability: Integrate microservices with existing systems and third-party APIs; ensure interoperability.
Security and Compliance: Work with security teams to implement controls and comply with standards; participate in audits as needed.
