KPI Solutions is seeking a Principal Software Deployment Engineer to lead customer deployments, from installation to go-live and ongoing support. You will own post-sale lifecycle and drive adoption and renewal.

You will oversee planning, standardize deployment methodologies, coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Product, and IT/Security, manage schedules and risks, and ensure documentation and training programs are up to date. Leadership, PM skills, and strong communication are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 8–12+ years in software implementation, professional services, or related fields with some people-management.
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-site enterprise deployments.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience with ticketing tools (Jira, Salesforce).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence.

• Own customer acceptance testing and sign-off processes
• Ensure documentation (as-built configurations, test results, handover packages) is complete and accurate
• Lead go-live support and post-deployment stabilization
• Develop and oversee customer and internal LTS training programs
• Ensure curricula stay current with product releases
• Measure training effectiveness and its impact on adoption and support demand
• Track and report KPIs: implementation cycle time, on-time go-live rate, resolution times
• Serve as executive escalation point for critical customer issues

Position Summary

The Principal Software Deployment Engineer leads the teams responsible for getting customers live and keeping them successful. This role owns the full post-sale lifecycle: software installation, system commissioning and acceptance, ongoing technical support, and end-user training. The Senior Manager builds scalable processes, develops high-performing teams, and ensures every deployment is delivered on time, on budget, and to a standard that drives adoption, satisfaction, and renewal.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee planning and execution of software installations across multiple product lines

Establish standardized deployment methodologies, checklists, and templates to reduce time-to-value

Manage project schedules, resources, and risks across multiple concurrent customer implementations

Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Product, and IT/Security teams to ensure smooth handoffs and technical readiness

Define and enforce commissioning standards, including configuration validation, integration testing, and go-live readiness criteria

Own customer acceptance testing and sign-off processes

Ensure documentation (as-built configurations, test results, handover packages) is complete and accurate

Lead go-live support and post-deployment stabilization

Develop and oversee customer and internal LTS training programs

Ensure curricula stay current with product releases

Measure training effectiveness and its impact on adoption and support demand

Track and report KPIs: implementation cycle time, on-time go-live rate, resolution times, backlog, utilization, and training completion

Serve as executive escalation point for critical customer issues the get escalated from the LTS support team to Product & Technology team

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8–12+ years of experience in software implementation, professional services, technical support, or customer success, with at least some experience in a people-management role
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-site enterprise software deployments
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, Salesforce)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-presence skills
