Job summary

KBR is seeking a Principal Software Architect and Development Lead to serve as the software discipline lead for engineering and development activities. Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for software products, IR&D projects, and innovation initiatives.

Lead development teams in design, implementation, testing, and deployment of modern software solutions, while defining architecture standards and best practices. Travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience leading software development teams or engineering organizations.
• Expertise architecting complex cloud-based and distributed software systems.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.
• Experience with database technologies.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications:
