Job summary

BlueCloud seeks a Principal Data Engineer – Snowflake to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale Snowflake-based data solutions. The role combines architecture decision-making with hands-on engineering across Snowflake, data migrations, data modeling, and governance.

The ideal candidate will have deep Snowflake expertise, strong data engineering skills, and the ability to mentor other engineers while remaining hands-on with implementation and optimization for performance

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture.
• Deep hands-on Snowflake experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing large-scale Snowflake data platforms and architectures.
• Strong SQL development and Python for data processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Snowflake data platforms.
• Design scalable Snowflake architectures for analytics, BI, and AI/ML use cases.
• Develop complex ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations using Snowflake.
