As a Principal Signal Processing Engineer, you will be developing the next generation technology for treatment of heart rhythm disorders. You will be responsible for developing novel algorithms and software for diagnosis and therapy during cardiac ablation procedures. You will learn under the guidance of some of the industry's prominent experts in the field of medical device engineering, while working in a fun and collaborative office environment.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing, developing, and testing real-time, high-performance, high-reliability code for digital signal processing and computational algorithms. The ideal candidate can take ownership of key software features while working collaboratively with other engineering teams and is passionate about working on a product that will have a positive impact on the lives of millions.

Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations (USD): $152,800.00 - $229,200.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program). The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums). Regular employees are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time mandated by applicable state law and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
