Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Amazon is seeking a seasoned SAP & ERP architect to own end-to-end business process architecture across sales, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and finance. You will drive standardization, lead cross-functional BPD reviews, and translate complex O2C, P2P, and R2R flows into SAP designs with governance and controls from day one.
You will set a multi-year roadmap, influence leadership on platform trade-offs, and mentor analysts across the program while navigating a fast-evolving greenfield
You start your morning reviewing open design decisions from yesterday's Business Process Design sessions, then join a cross-functional working session where procurement, manufacturing, and finance stakeholders debate how a new process flow should work in SAP standard versus a custom extension. After aligning the group on a path forward, you sketch the updated process flow and share it with the delivery architects. In the afternoon you might mentor a junior functional analyst on a tricky order-to-cash scenario, review a system-integrator proposal, or draft the next iteration of the multi-year solution roadmap.
Our team designs and delivers Amazon's next generation of robotic systems. Our ERP program is a new initiative charged with building the SAP S/4HANA backbone that connects Amazon's supply chain end to end. The team is a small, collaborative group of functional architects, engineers, and business partners who value clarity over complexity and standard processes over custom code. We are in the early stages of the program, which means you will have a direct hand in shaping the platform, the processes, and the culture as we scale.
