Principal RF Engineer

Seeking a highly technical, motivated, and experienced Engineer for RF component development and design and RF circuit design support, specifically with expertise in component, circuit, and system design for Receivers and Transmitters in High Reliability Aerospace and Defense applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, analyze, simulate, characterize, verify, document, support, and release RF component devices and front-end modules for wireless Defense and Space applications.
• Define and prioritize product roadmap and engineering efforts by interfacing with customers, business development, sales, and marketing teams.
• Assess product lines for technical capability in high-reliability markets, including specification definition, bench testing, packaging review, validation, verification, optimization, and support for production.
• Manage and execute projects to meet deadlines, and communicate program and technical goals to management and customers.

Required Experience and Skills

• BSEE with 10+ years of RF product development and design experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Strong organization and supervisory skills

Desired Experience and Skills

• Passion to contribute and succeed
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• High-Reliability product engineering experience, knowledge of MIL-PRF-38534 and MIL-PRF-38535 desirable

The typical base pay range for this role in the U.S. is USD $126,500 - $241,700 per year. Starting pay depends on experience, education, market, and location.
