Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Principal Quality Engineer to support the Columbia Dreadnaught Launcher Program at the Sunnyvale, CA facility. You will develop quality systems, collaborate with design and manufacturing, and drive corrective actions to ensure compliance with MIL-STDs and customer specifications.

The role requires a STEM degree, 5+ years in QA/manufacturing, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing.
• Experience with QMS ISO 9001/AS9100.
• Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality.
• Lead RCCA and Continuous Improvement activities (HQMS).
• Audit quality systems and drive corrective actions with suppliers and teams.
• Review drawings and MIL-STDs for conformance and disposition defects.
