Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector in Baltimore, MD seeks a Principal Quality Engineer 3 to advance quality systems for processing materials into finished goods. You will collaborate with contracts, inspection, manufacturing and shipping to uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities include RCCA, HQMS, and Continuous Improvement activities, plus data analysis with Excel, Minitab and Power BI. Requires a STEM BS with 5+ years QA or an MS with 3+ years; US citizenship and ability to obtain a

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 5+ years QA/engineering experience, or MS in STEM with 3+ years.
• Experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or process engineering.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100, AS9102 FAI, Lean Six Sigma.

Responsabilités

• Develops, maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
• Collaborates with contracts, inspection, manufacturing operations and shipping.
• Leads Continuous Improvements to reduce defects on the floor.
• Presents risks in standups and PCAB/PRB meetings.
• Uses data to drive quality decisions and ensures conformance.
