Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Project Management Program Integrator for the Triton Program Integration Team, based in Rancho Bernardo, CA. You will oversee operational aspects of projects and act as a bridge between program management and IPTs, driving reporting, staffing, and enterprise operations.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, potentially embed in Triton Areas, and advance with PM tools and IMF frameworks while advancing company objectives and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related professional/military experience in project management, program management, contracts, program operations, business management, and/or budgeting.
  • Must be able to obtain a US Government Secret clearance or higher (with background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

This position is for the role of a Principal Project Management Program Integrator. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the Triton Program Integration Team. The position will be based in our Rancho Bernardo, CA

The candidate is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as the liaison between program management and integrated product teams. This individual contributor will work side by side with the Enterprise Program Integration Manager on program reporting, staffing management, enterprise operations, and may be assigned to special projects. As required, this role may also be embedded in one of the Triton Program Areas, Development, Production, or Sustainment.

Overseas and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

Knowledge of project management and program integration and associated PM tools. General understanding of integrated management framework and program management process and procedures. Adherence to existing NG processes and demonstrates ability to understand processes and apply them. Demonstrates ability to perform projects with moderate supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related professional/military experience in project management, program management, contracts, program operations, business management, and/or budgeting; OR Master's degree with 3 years of related professional/military experience in project management, program management, contracts, program operations, business management, and/or budgeting; OR Ph.D. with 1 year of related professional/military experience in project management, program management, contracts, program operations, business management, and/or budgeting.
  • Must be able to obtain a US Government Secret clearance or higher (with background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active secret or top secret clearance (last investigation completed within last 6 years)
  • Experience in data analysis, property management, and/or inventory management
  • SAP experience
  • Understanding of the Integrated Management Framework (IMF)
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills to senior leadership
  • Aerospace and/or Defense Industry Experience
  • SharePoint experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including:
