Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Principal, Program Management Excellence- Operations to lead cross-functional operations within the Maritime Sector. You will drive baseline planning, CAM training, and executive-level program execution across multiple programs, with responsibility for cost and schedule baselines and EVMS implementation.

The role requires a seasoned Program Manager with Operations expertise, P&L experience, and the ability to obtain US security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience
  • Or post-graduate degree and 10 years of experience
  • Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
  • 10+ years of prior experience in Aerospace & Defense program management, Operations management and EVMS
  • Prior experience managing Profit & Loss (P&L)
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Drive and support predictable performance across all sector programs for the Operations function
  • Manage Sector CAM training & certification for the Operations function
  • Partner with program, other IPT members with Operations function to support executable baseline plan (cost and schedule)

Job Description

The Program Management Excellence (PMX) team within the Maritime Sector is looking to fill a Functional Lead role. The successful candidate should be an experienced Program Manager and Operations Manager who is well-versed in People, Process, and Tools best practices within the Aerospace & Defense industry. The successful candidate will serve as the enabler for Operations execution across all programs in the Sector. The candidate must be able to lead cross-functionally with the other members of the Maritime PMX staff, operations functional partners and the sector’s IPTs to drive predictable program performance.

Essential Functions

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington State, DC and Virginia (Greater D.C. area), Denver, or NYC areas is $153K-$284K. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia (outside of Greater D.C. area) is $133K-$247K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
