Job description

Description

This is a rare opportunity to lead the next evolution of data collection tooling used to advance Amazon's frontier AI initiatives. You will partner with scientists to envision and build products which facilitate the at-scale production of human inputs necessary to evolve AI foundations and drive AI adoption.

This role is inherently cross-functional -- you will cut across engineering, science, operations, finance and legal team leaders to uncover the future business needs and define the vision to deliver on the most strategic goals.

A successful candidate is a strategic thinker who can synthesize market trends with customer feedback and new ideas to prioritize an aligned roadmap that will drive measurable improvement to model performance. You must be able to effectively influence up and across the organization, produce clear and effective written documents, and roll up your sleeves to earn trust by deeply understanding the details.

Key job responsibilities
  • Own and define strategy, vision and roadmap for data collection platform.
  • Engage researchers, scientists and engineers early and often to iteratively define product specifications.
  • Define the business metrics to measure the impact of the platform features.
  • Balance among customer experience, performance and operational support load.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial and technical goals.
  • Engage users in iteratively test and rollout features across AGI and other Amazon teams.
