Job description

This role sits at the intersection of finance, process transformation, and technology. It is broader than EPM platform management alone and is accountable for helping define and deliver the roadmap for Plan to Perform capabilities across Finance. Operating as a senior individual contributor, you will work with the transformation team on process redesign, business analysis, solution design, and program execution, while partnering closely with Finance, Data, and Technology stakeholders.

This role will serve as the primary technology and transformation partner for the FP&A value stream, helping modernize planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics processes; drive cross-functional alignment; and identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to accelerate finance outcomes. The role should remain grounded in systems and solution delivery, but with equal emphasis on business process transformation and portfolio leadership.

The ideal candidate is a strong process and transformation leader with experience

spanning finance processes, business systems, and cross-functional program delivery. They understand FP&A deeply enough to engage credibly with finance stakeholders, while also bringing the structured thinking and technical fluency needed to guide solution design and systems-enabled change.

They are comfortable leading a team, navigating ambiguity, and influencing across a complex stakeholder environment. They can balance strategic roadmap thinking with practical execution and bring a modernization mindset that includes process simplification, connected planning, and the thoughtful application of AI and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities
  • FP&A Transformation Roadmap: Define and drive the roadmap for FP&A transformation — process modernization, capability evolution, and systems enablement across planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics.
  • Cross-Functional Solution Alignment: Partner across Finance, Technology, and Data teams to translate business priorities into scalable solutions, aligning requirements, sequencing, and delivery plans across a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Business Analysis & Solution Delivery: Oversee business analysis, process design, and solution execution to ensure initiatives deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, standardization, and decision support.
  • Program Execution: Drive cross-functional execution of a program from requirements through delivery, ensuring it is delivered on time, to a high standard of quality, within budget, and in accordance with stated business and technical objectives.
  • Stakeholder Influence & Decision Support: Act as a trusted advisor to finance leadership, using data and analysis to inform prioritization and decision-making; influence senior stakeholders without direct authority to harmonize on strategy and sequencing.
  • AI & Automation Enablement: Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and modern finance technologies to streamline processes, improve insights, and accelerate finance transformation outcomes.
  • Adoption & Change Leadership mindset: Spearhead the change management efforts by working with the change team for transformation initiatives, including developing and executing targeted communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and detailed training programs to ensure successful adoption and full integration of new processes and systems.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in finance systems, transformation, business systems, or program leadership roles, including meaningful support of FP&A / enterprise planning functions.
  • Strong understanding of FP&A processes and experience translating business needs into process improvements, system capabilities, and delivery roadmaps.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, with a track record of leading teams and cross-functional initiatives in matrixed environments.
  • Experience with EPM and related finance technologies, with the judgment to position technology as an enabler of broader business transformation; familiarity with AI or automation use cases is a plus
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into a scalable system architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization. You must be able to influence cross-functional senior leaders to use data and insights to inform business strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale change initiatives, operate without boundaries, and influence actions that align teams on business strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree (MBA) or a professional certification (CPA, PMP).
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM Cloud modules
  • Experience working in technology and fintech industries
  • Formal training and experience in project management and change management methodologies.
