Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA seeks a Principal Precision Analog/Power Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and test high-performance analog and power electronics for defense and aerospace applications.

You will drive architectures, perform simulations, layout, and verification across the life cycle, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. Requirements include a Bachelor's in EE, 10+ years in electronics, Schematic/PCB skills, Spice, MATLAB/Simulink,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related field.
Ability to design, analyze, simulate, layout, and verify analog/power electronics.
Must be able to obtain and maintain US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Designs new products and develops technical specifications for production.
Analyzes hardware configuration and tests hardware conformance to specifications.
Independently drives solutions to complex problems and adapts to changing requirements.
Subject Matter Expert able to develop advanced architectures and designs for complex electronics.
Supports business development by leading proposals and engaging with sponsors.
Identifies program/system-level risks and develops mitigation strategies.
Manages multi-disciplinary tasks with cross-functional teams and communicates status to leadership.
