Upstart is seeking a Principal Product Manager for the Growth team to own the end-to-end credit conversion experience in a remote-friendly role across the US. You will lead strategy and collaborate across functions to optimize the customer journey from application to funding.

This role emphasizes data-driven experimentation, cross-functional leadership, and a customer-centric approach to growth, with opportunities to influence a multi-product marketplace and leverage GenAI to sharpen product

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management with high-scale consumer apps.
• Proven success improving conversion funnels via strategy and experiments.
• Strong quantitative judgment and KPI ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy for end-to-end conversion experience from start to offer.
• Identify friction points and improve user journey.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, ML, marketing, and compliance.
• Lead data-informed decisions using segmentation and experiments.
• Apply GenAI to prototypes and insights.
