Qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience in systems software, security engineering, distributed systems, or policy infrastructure.
• Practical experience with zero-trust architecture patterns.
• Ability to write technical specifications and align multiple engineering owners.

Responsibilities

• Own APF Core Services including Runtime Policy Verifier and authorization APIs.
• Collaborate with Runtime Owners on public runtime interfaces.
• Drive Architecture Maturity through versioning and availability behavior.

Skills

Strong programming skills in Rust, Go, C++, or Python

Experience designing production services and policies

Familiarity with Linux systems

Experience with authorization and cryptographic signatures

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Tools

gRPC or equivalent wire formats
