The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency is accepting applications for the position of Principal Planner to fill one permanent/full-time vacancy in Auburn.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee key division or project area, directing and supervising activities.
• Perform professional planning duties, review plans and documents related to land use, environmental protection, economic development, and environmental compliance.
• Administer ordinances (local and state) and federal statutes.
• Manage grant projects and contracts.
• Assist the public in understanding and complying with adopted plans and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in land use planning and development.
