Job summary

Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, Inc. is seeking a PK Sciences project team representative to develop and implement translational pharmacology strategies across late clinical development.

The role spans PK, ADME, M&S, and clinical pharmacology to inform dose selection and study design in diverse modalities including small molecules, biologics, ADCs, radioligands, and cell therapies. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, regulatory interaction, and applying AI/ML to

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Pharm.D. with relevant experience in clinical pharmacology, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics.
  • 0-2 years in drug discovery/development in academia, CRO, biotech or pharma.
  • 2+ years in lead ADME/DMPK project strategy or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of PK/PD, regulatory sciences and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Exposure to AI/ML approaches is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the PK Sciences function in project teams and with stakeholders and regulators.
  • Contribute to developing drug candidates across Research, Development and Commercial continuum.
  • Explain PK/PD relationships and develop dosing strategies and predictions.
  • Design and analyze PK/PKPD data to support discovery through late development.
  • Prepare PK/clinical pharmacology sections of regulatory submissions and responses.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to integrate PK insights into study design and decision making.
  • Apply AI/ML for model-guided design, data automation and regulatory document generation.
