Lynx Software Technologies, Inc. in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for Open Mission Systems (OMS) to join a multi-site team supporting military aircraft platforms.

The role requires 8+ years of C++ experience, OMS software architecture expertise, and an active Secret clearance. Location options include Fort Worth, TX or Palmdale, CA; onsite work is required with travel up to 10%. Compensation ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 plus bonus eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM
• 8+ years of C++ development experience
• OMS software architecture and development
• Middleware and data distribution (DDS)
• Service-oriented and event-driven software design
• Interface definition, ICD development, and data modeling
• Mission-level simulation and integration testing
• Ability to work onsite 100%
• Ability to travel 10%

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and test OMS-based software for military aircraft platforms.
• Collaborate with multi-site teams to deliver mission-critical software.
• Document designs and support integration and testing activities.
