Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Principal NPI Test Engineer to lead new product introduction test development for high-speed mixed-signal products. You will architect test solutions from early silicon validation to high‑volume production, driving DFT standards across the organization and coordinating cross‑functional teams.

The role requires 8+ years in semiconductor test, strong Advantest/Teradyne experience, and hands‑on lab work.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or related).
• 8+ years of semiconductor test engineering experience.
• Knowledge of DFT (BIST, scan, boundary scan).
• Nice to have: High-speed signals ( >40GHz ), signal integrity, jitter, BER.
• Experience with Advantest V93000/Sm arTest or Teradyne UltraFLEX.
• PCB design using Cadence/Altium.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple NPI projects from start to finish.
• Train and guide junior engineers.
• Develop/debug ATE test programs on Advantest.
• Support test development on Teradyne uFlex for analog/sensing products.
• Perform hands-on lab work: bring-up, silicon debug, production release.
• Partner with design teams on DFT and testability requirements.
• Support characterization, correlation, and test readiness reviews.
• Transfer solutions to OSAT/manufacturing sites and drive yield improvements.
