As a Principal Nacelle Systems Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the integration of actuation (or similar) systems and sub-systems throughout the product life cycle from requirements capture to entry into service and in-service support. You will be responsible for driving the design and integration activities within multidisciplinary engineering teams and with customers.

What You Will Do:
  • Executing and enforcing requirements capture, management and flow down.
  • Leading the system or subsystem architecture and integration into the Nacelle and airplane systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and in-service requirements
  • Supporting system integration and installation activities across actuation systems and interfacing equipment.
  • Conducting design reviews and delivering technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leading risk identification, risk mitigation, and design assurance activities.
  • Investigating product issues during development, qualification, production, and in-service operation.
  • Supporting failure investigations and corrective action programmes.
  • Supporting customer engagement activities and new business opportunities <15% international travel as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in Requirement Management and associated tools.
  • Experience with MBSE principal and tools.
  • Experience in qualification and certification of aircraft systems.
  • Experience with ARP4754 and/or ARP4761
  • Experience with of D0-254 & D0178
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience with requirements management tools (DOORs, Polarion, or equivalent)
  • Model Base System Engineering concepts and tools
  • Experience supporting technical investigations and root cause analysis activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering global teams
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
  • Highly competent with PowerPoint, word, excel.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Aerospace systems and components product life cycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in component and systems integration into Nacelles or equivalent structure.
  • Demonstrated experience in component and systems integration into engine and aircraft systems.
  • Strong understanding of design and integration of electro-mechanical actuation systems or equivalent systems.
