Job summary

Electra Aero is seeking a Senior / Principal Multi-disciplinary Test & Simulation Engineer to build and maintain SIL/HIL labs validating the EL9’s systems before flight. You’ll work with internal customers to develop robust simulations for flight controls, avionics, and propulsion.

The role requires 8+ years in simulation or systems integration, strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, RTOS familiarity, and a track record with hardware interfaces and FAA certification activities.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in simulation development or systems integration.
Hands-on experience with SIL/HIL lab environments.
Experience with real-time systems and hardware interfaces.
Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain SIL/HIL labs to validate the EL9 systems.
Develop real-time simulation models and interfaces between models and hardware.
Maintain configuration control and documentation for simulation environments for FAA Part 23 support.
Collaborate with IPTs to define test requirements and resolve integration issues.
