Our Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP) department is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join a highly accomplished team. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for developing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems related to the entire product life cycle, including proposal, design, manufacture, integration, and test of various types of electronic systems, enclosures, and module assemblies for aerospace and defense applications. Familiarity with CREO/ProEngineer or a similar CAD tool, knowledge of GD&T drawing standards, and experience with finite element thermal and structural analysis is strongly recommended. The candidate will work with minimal direction or supervision while exercising considerable latitude in determining the technical objectives of the assignment.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
