Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of product design experience.
• Experience with electromechanical design and analysis.
• Expertise in mechanism design, motion systems, and structural engineering.
• Experience with motors, actuators, gearboxes, sensors, bearings, and drivetrain integration.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks.
• Hands-on experience developing products from concept through production.
• Excellent communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electromechanical medical devices and patient positioning systems.
• Create innovative mechanical solutions involving motion systems, actuators, and structural assemblies.
• Perform engineering analysis to ensure products meet requirements for strength, reliability, stability, and performance.
• Design and integrate motors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors, and drivetrain components.
• Lead product development activities from concept through commercialization.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and design-for-manufacturing initiatives.
• Drive product improvements, cost reduction efforts, and technical problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, service, quality, and marketing.
