Legacy Traditional Schools in Clemmons, NC is seeking a Principal to lead a campus, shape the educational program, and guide teachers, students, and staff toward academic excellence.

The role requires a Master’s degree in education or educational leadership, state principal certification, at least four years as a classroom teacher, and three years of supervisory experience. You will promote safety, family communication, and a positive school culture across campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or educational leadership and state principal certification.
• Four years of proven classroom teaching experience with content expertise.
• Three years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Knowledge of school administration principles and practices.
• Ability to pass a criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the administrative official for educators, students, management and operations.
• Articulate the school's mission and vision to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
• Select and hire educators and supervise instructional programs for effectiveness.
• Maintain high standards of student safety and advocate for student rights.
• Promote communication and cooperation among educators, students, parents and community.
• Create a safe learning environment that engages students and staff and supports high performance.
• Guide leadership activities to promote growth in social, physical and intellectual aspects.
• Model and uphold the school’s values, integrity and compassionate leadership.
