Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Principal Kubernetes Software Engineer in the Palo Alto area to advance Kubernetes internals and CNCF contributions. You will design, implement, test, and release Go-based services, collaborating with a 글로벌 community of open source engineers to deliver secure, scalable software.

You’ll influence architecture, contribute to KEPs, and lead efforts to meet SLAs, security, and compliance requirements while working closely with product, security, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes expertise and CNCF/open source contribution experience.
• Experience leading OSS projects or architecture for large-scale deployments.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills across teams and communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop Kubernetes controllers and patterns in Go for OSS projects.
• Collaborate with a global CNCF community and contribute upstream.
• Deliver code changes and satisfy contribution requirements for open source.
• Partner with management to align priorities and drive releases.
• Define requirements, break work into items, and lead estimation and scope.
