Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer with deep iOS expertise and solid Android knowledge to drive AI-enabled mobile apps. You will lead architecture, oversee cross‑platform quality, and mentor junior engineers in a hybrid Pasadena, CA role.

The ideal candidate will own mobile engineering standards, champion secure and scalable design, and collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, Data, and AI teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in native iOS development with Swift/SwiftUI.
• Strong working knowledge of Android to ensure cross‑platform alignment.
• Experience with AI/ML concepts integrated into mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of native iOS applications for performance and scalability.
• Provide code‑level leadership for Android to maintain cross‑platform consistency.
• Define mobile engineering standards and reusable components across the mobile stack.
• Implement on‑device and cloud‑based ML capabilities within mobile apps.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in iOS/Android.
