Job summary

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking a process integration manager to lead the 300mm process integration team, owning development, customer engagement and production with a focus on delivering advanced technology for mass production.

The role requires strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of FEOL/BEOL processes, and a track record of delivering measurable improvements in quality, cost and delivery within a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience leading an engineering team delivering advanced technology for mass production.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage schedules, scope and cost trade-offs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead process integration team on baseline improvements and CIP initiatives for 45RF and 45RFe technologies.
• Drive NPIs with zero execution errors and ensure smooth customer engagement.
• Collaborate with process module, yield engineering, program management, CE, packaging and reliability teams to implement process solutions.
• Develop and deliver test structures and characterization plans for new designs.
• Develop and implement processes meeting customer needs and support design rule development.

Summary of Role

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking a highly motivated process integration manager to support the 300mm semiconductor process integration team. The core responsibilities of this team involve ownership of process integration from development, customer engagement to production. The ideal candidate should have proven leadership on tracking record of developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production. Also, the ideal candidate can demonstrate a deep technical understanding of various processes and an understanding of a balanced scorecard approach to develop, sustain, and improve the technologies with quality, cost, and delivery all considered.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead process integration team on baseline improvement and CIPs in 45RF and 45RFe technologies.
• Leadership in running NPIs with zero execution errors.
• Receive customer feedback and debug problems to solutions.
• Collaborating with process module, yield engineering, program management, CE and sometimes packaging and reliability teams in driving process solutions.
• Perform project management and data analysis Identify and resolve process integration issues and related problems
• Develop custom or derivative processes to meet customer needs
• Support new designs with module characterization and design rule development
• Work with cross function teams to resolve technical & yield concerns
• Develop and improve test structures that enable fast and rigorous characterization of process
• Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to deliver organizational goals
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Education: Minimum BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience Experience of leading engineer team, developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production.
• Strong project management skills, particularly focused on managing schedules, scope and cost trade-offs of projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD with 2+ years of working experience in relevant field. Degree must be in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline.
• Experience in the FEOL/BEOL process with FinFET and FDSOI technology is plus.
• Results oriented and focused on quality of work Excellent structured problem solving and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, clients, as well as internal and external partners.
• Strong presentation and technical writing skills Self-starter and highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging professional environment.

Expected Salary Range

$85,000.00 - $146,000.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
