AllSpice is hiring a Sr./Principal Infrastructure Engineer to elevate cloud infrastructure and security operations as we scale. You will own deployments, automate workflows, and partner with teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure across our platform.

The role offers autonomy, on-call rotations, and opportunities to drive cost optimization, disaster recovery, and compliance programs, with flexible in-office options in SF or Boston and a strong emphasis on security engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud infrastructure and/or security engineering experience.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS services (IAM, GuardDuty, AWS WAF, etc.) and Linux administration.
• Experience managing security compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and penetration testing.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a high degree of autonomy.
• Fluency with AI tools to debug, document, and reduce operational toil.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field.
• U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Own new server deployments and automation.
• Manage enterprise deployments and SSO integrations with customer success.
• Deploy infrastructure solutions with application developers.
• Document security processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits and penetration testing.
• Drive architecture and hosting service improvements.
• Automate deployments, backups, and recovery processes.
• Monitor, optimize, and ensure high availability of cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations and conduct blameless postmortems.
