Colorado Psychiatric seeks an experienced environmental health professional to conduct complex investigations for property conditions such as water damage, mold, and indoor air quality, including on-site analysis and sample collection. You will provide expert witness support, develop education materials, and guide remediation planning.

Texas Mold Assessors license and a degree in physical/biological sciences or engineering are required, with CIH and related certifications highly desired.

Qualifications

• Licensed mold assessor with Texas license.
• Bachelor-level degree in physical, biological sciences or engineering.
• CIH certification highly desired; other related certs encouraged.
• 8+ years of environmental science/industrial hygiene experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with law firms and insurers.

Responsabilités

• Conduct complex and forensic investigations and on-site analysis to determine origin, cause, and duration of damage.
• Identify hazards and determine evaluation methods for chemical, biological and fire substances.
• Perform mold and moisture assessments.
• Deliver indoor air quality investigations including HVAC assessments.
• Collect samples for analysis.
• Document field activities with reports and chain-of-custody.
• Provide expert witness support in litigation.
• Provide technical guidance and support for team members.
• Develop and present continuing education materials.
• Adhere to drug-free workplace policy and complete screenings.
• Complete background screenings.

Texas Mold Assessors License

Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation

ACCS and/or IICRC certifications
