Centene Management Company LLC is seeking a Principal Incident Response Analyst to serve as Incident Commander for enterprise-wide responses. You will coordinate large-scale cyber incidents, communicate with leadership, and drive containment, investigation, and remediation with internal and external partners.

The role emphasizes policy compliance, rigorous analysis, and independent, decisive action under pressure.

Qualifications

Position Purpose:

The Principal Incident Response Analyst serves as an Incident Commander for activities requiring the issuance of Centene’s enterprise-wide Incident Response Plan.

Key Details:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Command and coordinate large-scale cyber incidents.
• Communicate regularly with leadership from multiple departments.
• Maintain situational awareness of emerging threats.
• Work with internal and external security partners to contain, investigate, and remediate incidents.
• Ensure compliance with all security policies and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires deep functional and Centene specific knowledge with 6 – 8 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of threat actor tools, techniques, and processes (TTPs) and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
• Experience with endpoint protection and enterprise detection & response platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, etc).
• Understanding of network and infrastructure technologies (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and security best practices, and Cloud Detection & Response technology.

Pay Range:

$121,500.00 - $224,900.00 per year

Compensation Details:

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
