Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Factors, HCI, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of human factors/usability engineering experience in regulated medical device, digital health, or combination product environments.
• Experience interfacing with healthcare professionals and patients in a professional setting.
• Ability to influence product strategy and executive decision-making as a principal contributor.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the human factors vision and strategy across physician- and patient-facing solutions.
• Lead usability engineering plans and risk analyses per FDA/IEC standards.
• Design and conduct formative and summative usability studies with clinicians, patients, and caregivers.
• Mentor teams in human factors methods and regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate HF into product development lifecycle.
