Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• 12–15+ years of experience in cloud/enterprise architecture or platform engineering.
• 7+ years designing and operating Google Cloud environments.
• Deep Google Cloud architecture knowledge (landing zones, IAM, VPC, KMS/CMEK, logging).

Responsibilities

• Provide principal-level architecture leadership for GXO's Google Cloud environment across landing zones, policies, networking, identity, and security.
• Design and evolve enterprise Google Cloud foundations and platform engineering standards (Terraform, CI/CD, policy-as-code).
• Lead GKE architecture (networking, autoscaling, security, observability, operations).
• Develop enterprise reference architectures, ADRs, and cloud design patterns.
• Partner with Security to implement zero-trust, encryption, and audit logging.
• Define enterprise observability and FinOps standards (monitoring, tracing, budgeting).
